Plate Fitting and Warranty Information
We recommend fitting your plates using the high-quality sticky pads we supply for the cleanest finish. We do not advise drilling or screwing through the plates, as this may damage the plate or lettering. Please note that drilling or screwing the plates will void the warranty, and Elite Plates cannot be held responsible for any damage caused as a result. All of our plates are jet wash safe from a minimum distance of 1 metre. If you experience any issues with your plates during the warranty period, please contact us via email or our social media platforms and we will endeavour to resolve the issue in the most suitable way possible.
How fast is Delivery?
Orders placed before 12pm (Monday–Friday) are dispatched the same day via Royal Mail Tracked 48 or another 48-hour tracked courier. We do offer a guaranteed 24-hour delivery service for orders placed before 12pm and you should be able to add this before you check out. Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery before contacting us. Please note, orders are not shipped on weekends.
Are your Plates Road Legal?
When placing your order, you can choose between Road Legal Plates or Show Plates.
Road legal plates are manufactured in line with UK regulations, including correct character spacing and required supplier markings to meet British Standards.
What are Show Plates?
Show plates are number plates made using legal components but intended for off-road or novelty use only. Tinted, coloured, and Krystal/Neon plates all fall under this category and are not road legal for use on UK roads, despite often being seen on vehicles. The only road-legal character colour permitted is black. All tinted, coloured, and Krystal/Neon plates supplied by Elite Plates are sold strictly as show plates for off-road use only.
What is your Returns Policy?
Once orders have been processed or fulfilled, we are unable to offer refunds or returns as all products are custom-made and bespoke to order, unless an error has been made on our part.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible via our social media platforms rather than email for the fastest response. Orders placed before 12pm are usually dispatched the same working day, so cancellation requests must be made quickly and preferably via our social media platforms rather than email. Once an order has been processed or fulfilled, we are unable to offer refunds as all products are custom-made to order, unless an error has been made on our part.
